Our eating habits plays a major role for keeping good health during winters. So, here are some fruits and veggies which are required to take to avoid the health issues during the winter season.
- Pomegranate:It is a berry category fruit, rich in vitamins, fibre and proteins. During winters, it is important to take fibre rich food products to avoid cold and other health issues. This fruit contains anti-oxidants and fight against the odd bacteria that is present in our body.
- Sweet Potatoes: It is highly recommended fruit during winter seasons. It contains vitamin C and vitamin D. The vitamin C is helps to cure common cold and flu and vitamin D can provide your body to resist with constant energy which you normally get through sunlight also.
- Green Leafy Vegetables: during winter season we get affected to viruses that cause cold and flu. So, it’s important to keep our immune system safe from all these and zinc can help to keep our immune system function properly. By taking leafy veggies like spinach and etc. which provides a lot of iron and zinc content in it keeps us healthy and energetic.
- Carrots & Radishes:These veggies contain vitamin C & A and lot of minerals which keep our health in good condition without getting affected by viruses. The carrot is also very good for skin care.
- Apple: Rich in anti-oxidants, presence of vitamin C and lot of fibre content. There are numerous benefits regarding apple it also keeps our RBC count high by taking an apple each day which is very good health for proper functioning of immune system.
- Dates:It is another highly recommended seasonal fruit during winter. This fruit is highly rich in minerals, vitamins, calcium and have extreme health benefits. It is a good energy booster fights against digestion related problems also.
From all these we can say that it is better to take the foods which have vitamin C and also the zinc content items which would helpful during winters to avoid health issues.
