Losing weight is not an easy task. To lose weight on should have to follow many things like maintaining proper diet, regular workout, keeping track on weight loss etc. Losing weight is a part of weight management and is a common agenda in most of the people because weighing too much is not good for health. Being overweight makes you vulnerable and prone to health risks like diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure etc.

As said earlier, losing weight is not that easy as gaining it. One should have proper planning and preparation to reach their weight management goals. But, there are cases, particularly in weight loss, showing no decrease in weight even after several months of workout. Is that possible? Yes, let’s discuss the reasons behind it.

  • May be you’re not getting what your body needs: Eating healthy is important for losing weight. Losing weight doesn’t alone happen with workouts. Most of the people focus only on workouts and taking less food which is a very wrong way. It needs proper diet consisting of all essential macro nutrients like protein, fat, carbohydrates and other micro nutrients like vitamins and minerals. Your diet should consist of low calorie food and at the same time food rich in protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs.
  • You’re not undergoing resistance training:Resistance training, such as lifting weights, is one of the most important things to do to lose weight. Lifting weights help you to prevent the slowdown of metabolic process. Lifting weights are great because when you do some serious weight lifting your body starts to burn fat and continues to burn fat even after your workout.
  • You’re not getting enough sleep: Getting enough sleep is the most important factors for your physical and mental wellness. If you aim to lose weight, you should get enough sleep along with your workouts.
  • You’re not doing cardio:Cardiovascular exercises are great to increase heart rate. Exercises like jogging, swimming etc. are the most effective exercises at burning fat.

There are many other reasons like health condition, taking too much junk, irregular tracking of your weight etc.
